Issuance of Immigration Document by ExtensiÃ³n

This is applicable to the foreign national who holds an immigration document of visitor for humanitarian reasons, of visitor for adoption purposes, susceptible of renewal according to the assumptions indicated in the requirements.

Application
Format to request immigration stay procedure, filled out electronically through the website, printed and with the autograph signature of the petitioner.

Important:

In the case of minors under 18 years of age, the application form must be signed by the mother, father or whoever exercises parental authority, guardianship or curatorship.

Note: The documents attached to meet the requirements must be listed and written down in the comments section of the application form.

Requirements

The documents (applications) for the procedures must be submitted in original only, and their annexes, in copy. If the interested party requires an acknowledgement of receipt, she/he must attach a copy for that purpose. (Article 15 A section I of the Administrative Procedure Federal Act).

1.	Visitor card for humanitarian reasons or visitor card for adoption purposes with a validity of up to thirty calendar days Original.
2.	Basic format. Important: Filling out the form will be done electronically and in person at the office where the procedure is resolved.
3.	Three card-size photographs of your face, with your forehead and ears uncovered, without earrings or glasses. Important: The photographs will be taken by the immigration authority at the office where the procedure is resolved, so they should not be presented.
4.	Present the documents accrediting any of the following cases:
	a) Visitor for humanitarian reasons:
	Document issued by the competent authority stating that the conditions for which the condition of stay was granted subsist or; Original and copy.
	Medical certificate of the family member, when the reason for the stay is to provide assistance to said family member due to being in a serious state of health. Original and copy.
	b) Visitor for adoption purposes:
	Last document issued by the competent authority on the adoption process or;
	If you obtained the corresponding sentence, the document that proves you are carrying out some procedure to guarantee the departure of the minor. Original and copy.
5.	Proof that proves the payment of the fees for the reception, study and, where appropriate, the issuance of the immigration document in accordance with the condition of stay and card or FMM that is going to be renewed, in accordance with the Federal Rights Law and other legal provisions applicable. Original and copy.

Important:

Foreigners who request the renewal of the visitor's card for humanitarian reasons are exempt from the payment of fees, in accordance with the provisions of article 16 of the Federal Rights Law.

Duty Payment
- By receipt and study of the application, and where appropriate, the issuance that accredits the status of visitor stay for adoption purposes.

Important:

The help sheet must be filled out according to the following specifications:

Confirm that it corresponds to the type of procedure requested.

Register the full names and surnames exactly as they appear in the document with which the foreign national is identified in the Application (Regardless of the number of names and surnames).

In the case of minors, the payment must be registered with the names and surnames of the minors.

It is suggested to review exhaustively the payment receipts issued by the banking institutions, so that there is no error in the person's identification data.
Follow-up Procedure

If your application was pending on the day it was submitted, you will be able to track it with the email address you entered on the application, have your application number and password that was sent to you electronically at hand.
