The documents (applications) for the procedures must be submitted in original only, and their annexes, in copy. If the interested party requires an acknowledgement of receipt, she/he must attach a copy for that purpose. (Article 15 A section I of the Administrative Procedure Federal Act).

1.	Passport, identity and travel document or official document that you have exhibited to obtain the status of stay of which you are the holder. Copy. In case it presents FMM. Original.
2.	Temporary resident, temporary student or visitor card, or valid and current FMM. Original.
3.	Proof of payment of fee for receiving and processing the application to change of status, in accordance with the Federal Act on Fees and other applicable legal provisions. Original and copy.
4.	Current official identification of the Mexican person (passport, INE, professional license, military service card, consular registration, naturalization letter or Mexican birth certificate and valid driver's license) or permanent residence card of the foreign person, with which the Family Relationship is confirmed. Original and copy.
5.	Demonstrate Family Relationship according to the following:
	a) Being the father or mother of a Mexican or foreign person with permanent residence in national territory: Birth certificate of the Mexican person or permanent resident. Original and copy.
	b) Being the son of a permanent resident foreigner: Birth certificate. As long as they are a girl, boy or adolescent and have not married, or are under their guardianship, conservatorship or custody. Original and copy.
	c) Being the son of the spouse or common-law spouse of a Mexican or permanent resident. As long as she is a girl, boy or adolescent and has not been married, or is under guardianship, conservatorship or custody of the spouse or common-law spouse:
	Birth certificate of the minor and. Original and copy.
	Marriage certificate or the document that proves the concubinage of the father or mother with the Mexican or the foreign person. Original and copy.
	d) Being a girl, boy or adolescent, whose parental authority, guardianship or curatorship is in charge of a Mexican or permanent resident foreigner: Document issued by the competent authority. Original and copy.
	e) Being the son of a Mexican in accordance with subsection d), section I of the criteria section (Mexican born abroad and not Mexican in accordance with article 30 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States):
	Letter of naturalization of the Mexican and. Original and copy.
	Birth certificate of the foreign person. Original a Birth certificate of the foreign person. Original and copy.
	f) Being the brother of a Mexican or permanent resident foreigner: Birth certificate of both, as long as it is a girl, boy or adolescent and has not been married, or a document proving that they are under the legal representation of the Mexican or permanent resident. Original and copy.
	g) If you obtained temporary residence by marriage or common-law marriage with a Mexican or permanent resident foreigner:
	Marriage certificate or document that proves concubinage according to civil legislation or the document that proves equivalent to the concubinage granted by the competent authority of the country of origin or residence of the foreign person and. Original and copy.
	Letter under oath to tell the truth signed by the applicant and his spouse or common-law husband, indicating the marital address and the subsistence of the bond during the two years prior to the application.
	h) Having Mexican children by birth: Children's birth certificates. Original and copy.
	i) Being a grandmother or grandfather of a Mexican by birth:
	Birth certificate of the Mexican grandson by birth and. Original and copy.
	Birth certificate of his parents. Original and copy.
	j) Being the daughter or son of a Mexican by birth: Birth certificate of the applicant. Original and copy.
	k) Being a granddaughter or grandson of a Mexican by birth:
	Grandfather's birth certificate. Original and copy.
	Birth certificate of the parents. Original and copy.
	Applicant's birth certificate. Original and copy.
6.	Proof of payment of fee for receiving and processing the application and, where appropriate, for issuance of the Permanent Resident Card, in accordance with the Federal Act on Fees and other applicable legal provisions. Original and copy.

• Foreign public documents, with the exception of the passport or identity and travel document, must be apostilled or legalized and, where appropriate, accompanied by a translation into Spanish prepared by officially recognized experts as appropriate.
• The foreign person must appear personally before the immigration authority, to provide the photograph, signature and fingerprint data for the basic format and, where appropriate, for the issuance of the immigration document.

First payment.

In the event of a positive decision, the payment must make this payment:
