Current official identification of the Mexican person: passport, IFE/INE, professional license, military service card, consular registration, naturalization letter or Mexican birth certificate, current driver's license, or current residence card of the foreign person who accredits Family Relationship and request a visa for your family member(s). Original and copy. |

Legible copy of a valid unexpired passport (identity and travel document) in accordance with international law of the foreign national for whom a visa is requested. Copy. |

The foreign national for whom the visa is required does not have a pending application for a family reunification procedure submitted to the National Migration Institute. |

The petitioner must prove the Family Relationship with the foreign person for whom the visa is requested, in accordance with the following and present the requirement(s) according to each case:
|
a) If it is the father or mother of the petitioner: Birth certificate of the petitioner. Original and copy.
|
b) If it is a child of the petitioner:
- Birth certificate of the foreign person for whom a visa is requested, as long as they are a child or adolescent and have not married or are under their legal representation or are of legal age who are in a state of interdiction and are under their legal representation. Original and copy.

c) If it is the petitioner's spouse: Marriage certificate. If the petitioner is mexican, she must present a Mexican marriage certificate. Original and copy.

d) If the promoter certified the marriage relationship with another person: Documentary issued by the competent authority, in which the dissolution or termination of the same is determined. Original and copy.

e) If it is a common-law wife or common-law husband of the applicant: Document issued by the competent authority of the country of origin or residence of the foreign person for whom a visa is requested, or where the legal act certifying that they have lived with the promoter in common, constantly and permanently for a minimum period of five years. Original and copy.

f) If it is a son or daughter of the spouse, concubine or common-law husband, as long as the foreign person for whom the visa is requested is a girl, boy or adolescent and has not married or is under their legal representation or is older of age but is in a state of interdiction and is under your legal representation, the following is required:
- Birth certificate of the person for whom the visa is requested. Original and copy.
- That the father or mother of the foreign person for whom a visa is requested proves a Family Relationship with the promoter based on subsections c and d. Original and copy.
- Passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with current international law of the spouse; concubine, concubine or equivalent figure of the promoter. Copy.
- Document issued by the competent authority in which the other father or mother of the minor consents his/her departure to reside in Mexico. Original and copy.

g) In the case of a boy, girl or adolescent, whose guardianship or conservatorship is in charge of the petitioner: Document issued by the competent authority. Original and copy.

h) If it is a brother or sister of the petitioner: Birth certificate of the petitioner and birth certificate of the foreign person for whom the visa is requested, as long as the person for whom the visa is requested is a girl, boy or adolescent and has not contracted marriage, or is of legal age but is in a state of interdiction and under his legal representation. Original and copy.

The applicant who obtained permanent residence through refuge and requests the visa of his/her spouse, common-law husband, children, blood relatives up to the fourth degree, blood relatives of the spouse, common-law husband, common-law husband, up to the second degree: Document with which he proves recognition by derivation of refugee status for the relative, by the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance. Original and copy. |

Proof of payment of fee for receiving and processing the application and, where appropriate, for authorization of visa for family reunification. Original and copy. |
