Issuance of Immigration Document for Renewal

Applicable to the foreign person holder of a temporary resident, student temporary resident and permanent resident immigration document in the case of minors under 18 years of age, subject to renewal in accordance with the assumptions indicated in the requirements.

Important:

In the case of minors under 18 years of age, the application form must be signed by the mother, father or whoever exercises parental authority, guardianship or curatorship.

Requirements

The documents (applications) for the procedures must be submitted in original only, and their annexes, in copy. If the interested party requires an acknowledgement of receipt, she/he must attach a copy for that purpose. (Article 15 A section I of the Administrative Procedure Federal Act).

1.	Temporary resident, student temporary resident or permanent resident card in the case of minors under 18 years of age with a validity of up to thirty calendar days. Original
2.	Basic format. Important: Filling out the form will be done electronically and in person at the office where the procedure is resolved.
3.	Three card-size photographs of your face, with your forehead and ears uncovered, without earrings or glasses. Important: The photographs will be taken by the immigration authority at the office where the procedure is resolved, so they should not be presented.
4.	Proof of payment of fees for reception, assessment and, where appropriate, the issuance of the migration document in conformity with the immigration status and card to be renewed, in accordance with the Federal Act on Fees and other applicable legal provisions. Original and copy.
5.	Present the documents accrediting any of the following cases:
	a) Migratory condition granted by job offer: proof of employment continuity on the employer's letterhead indicating the period of employment (in months or years). Original.
	b) Temporary resident student: letter or certificate issued by the educational institution stating that he/she continues with his/her studies or that he/she is in the process of obtaining the corresponding certificate, certificate, diploma, title or academic degree. Original.
	c) Condition of migratory granted by Family Reunification: Letter under protest to tell the truth, stating that the conditions under which the migratory condition was granted subsist: In the event that you are the spouse, common-law husband or common-law wife of a person of Mexican nationality or a resident foreigner, the document must be signed by both persons. Original. In the case of girls, boys or adolescents or people under legal guardianship or guardianship in terms of Mexican civil legislation, the letter must be in the name of the minor and signed by the mother, father or whoever exercises parental authority, the guardianship or conservatorship. Original.
	d) Migratory condition granted to a minister of worship or who belongs to a religious association: Official letter issued by the General Directorate of Religious Associations stating that it continues to carry out its activities in the Religious Association. Original and copy.
	e) Migratory condition granted due to other circumstances: Letter under protest to tell the truth, stating that the conditions under which the condition of stay was granted subsist. Original.
	f) The foreign person must appear personally before the immigration authority, to provide the signature and fingerprint data for the basic format and, where appropriate, for the issuance of the immigration document

The fees indicated in article 8 of the Federal Act on Fees shall not be paid when foreigners remain in national territory under the conditions of stay of Temporary Resident Student, and Temporary Resident when authorised under the agreements of cooperation or educational, cultural and scientific exchange, in terms of those established in article 11 section I of the aforementioned Act.

Payment of fee for receiving and processing the application and, where appropriate, for issuance of the immigration document.

Important:

The help sheet must be filled out according to the following specifications:

Confirm that it corresponds to the type of procedure requested.

Register the full names and surnames exactly as they appear in the document with which the foreign national is identified in the Application (Regardless of the number of names and surnames).

In the case of minors, the payment must be registered with the names and surnames of the minors.

It is suggested to review exhaustively the payment receipts issued by the banking institutions, so that there is no error in the person's identification data.
Follow-up Procedure

If your application was pending on the day it was submitted, you will be able to track it with the email address you entered on the application, have your application number and password that was sent to you electronically at hand.
